Harry Potter Wizard Chess Set, 32 Pieces with Folding Board

The Chessboard Under the Castle

In Philosopher's Stone, a giant chess game guards the way to the Stone — and Ron plays it. This set shrinks that scene down to tabletop size: 32 figures modeled on the great living statues from the film, ready for real games at your table.

Both armies carry the heavy, medieval look the movie made famous. Kings and queens stand tall, knights lean into their charge, rooks and bishops hold the line. One side comes in silver, the other in charcoal, so the two armies read clearly across the board — just like the on-screen showdown.

Details Made for Fans

The sculpts follow the film sequence closely, from the pieces' silhouettes to their worn, battle-scarred surfaces. If you know the scene, you will recognize these figures at a glance.

The board folds for storage and measures 18.5 inches square. Its surface carries a marbled stone pattern with decorative borders that echo the hidden chamber, plus a red star accent in each corner — a small touch sharp-eyed fans will spot. Unfolded, it sits flat and stable for play.

Two Bags to Keep the Armies Safe

The set includes two organza drawstring bags with embroidered insignia — one silver, one black. Sort the pieces by color, keep them free of dust and scratches, and carry the set to a friend's table without worry.

A Solid Gift for a Wizarding Fan

The whole set weighs 1.8 kg and arrives in a collector presentation box holding the full army, the themed board, and both bags. Nothing else is needed — open it and set up the first game. It works as shelf display between matches, too.
