Make a small idea do something
A tiny screen. A real-world response.
Micro Lab is the M5Stack StickS3 development kit: an ESP32 development board with a display and useful sensors already built in. A desk timer you designed. A motion-responsive display. A remote-control experiment that finally works. Micro Lab gives small coding ideas a physical place to happen.

See the result in your hand.
The 1.14-inch color screen can show the number, symbol, or interface your project needs. Instead of leaving every result in a laptop console, put it where you can see it at a glance. The compact body makes it a natural choice for a small desk tool or portable prototype.

Respond to more than a button press.
The six-axis motion sensor opens up tilt and movement projects. Infrared transmit and receive hardware supports compatible remote-control experiments, while the microphone and speaker add ways to work with sound. These are building blocks you can combine around your own idea.

Start small and keep adding.
The ESP32-S3 platform includes 8MB flash and 8MB PSRAM, with Wi-Fi for connected projects. Arduino and UiFlow2 provide supported development routes. A rechargeable 250mAh battery lets you try a portable setup after programming, without turning every experiment into a full bench installation.

A few useful answers
Is it a finished smart-home remote?
It is programmable hardware. Remote-control behavior depends on the firmware you install or write and the compatibility of the equipment you want to control.
Can a beginner use it?
Yes, with time for setup and learning. Manufacturer examples are a useful starting point; a simple screen, timer, or motion project is easier than a complete connected system.
Will it run desktop software?
No. It runs software built for the ESP32-S3 platform, not Windows or standard desktop applications.
