Dot brings the M5Stack StackChan K151 desktop robot kit to your workbench. A blinking cursor is one way to see your code come to life. A tiny robot turning toward you is another. Dot gives your experiments a face, a voice, and movement you can shape yourself.

The 2-inch touchscreen becomes a canvas for eyes, expressions, and your own interface. Two servos move the head, so a change in your program can become a nod or a turn. Explore how a few pixels and a simple movement can make a machine feel full of character.

Is this for someone who likes coding?

Yes. Dot is a development platform for makers, learners, and programmers. Initial setup and compatible firmware are needed; it is not a finished toy with every behavior already configured.

Does it include a ready-made AI subscription?

No. Connected voice or AI projects depend on the firmware and services you choose. Third-party accounts, internet access, and any service charges are separate.

What can I make first?

A changing face, an animated timer, or a simple movement routine makes a manageable starting point. More advanced camera, voice, and connected features can be added as your project develops.

So cool that i bought a second one. The cahtbot function is excellent and it speaks multiple languages and somehow i managed to make it speak singlish. Downside is if reset button is pressed, it is hard to connect back. Easiest to reflash the firmware and instruction is easy to find under m5stack community. There are multiple projects from the community you can download. Will be much better if one can link the chatbot to a bluetooth headset. Looking for an existing project that can do this.
