Solder Your Own Nixie Clock

Nixie tubes are not simulated here. This kit ships with four genuine IN12 vacuum tubes — the Cold-War-era originals — and you wire them up yourself. Finished, the clock shows a 4-digit time in warm orange cathode light, with all the circuitry visible under a glass dome on a wooden base. It tells the time, and it shows off how it does it.

This Is a Kit, Not a Finished Clock
