A classic shape for the screen

Give Your Games a Dedicated Handheld

Bring compatible retro games to a screen shaped for the classics. The ANBERNIC RG476H Android gaming handheld has a 4.7-inch 4:3 display at 1280 × 960, with refresh support up to 120Hz. This Indigo edition adds Hall-effect controls, active cooling, 8GB RAM and 128GB storage for your own game library.

The screen shape is the point.

The 4.7-inch LTPS display combines a 4:3 aspect ratio with a refresh rate up to 120Hz. It is an appealing format for compatible games designed around a similar frame. You can spend more time with the picture and less time deciding how to arrange it on a very wide screen.

Indigo Hall controls and motion features

A handheld with room for your grip.

The horizontal body places a D-pad, Hall-effect analog sticks, face buttons, and Hall triggers around the display. The Indigo finish gives this edition its distinctive color. Active cooling and a 5000mAh battery support the portable format, while your choice of game and settings determines the session’s actual demands.

T820 processor and memory platform illustration

Take the library beyond one screen.

Android 13, a Unisoc T820 processor, 8GB RAM, and 128GB storage give you a platform for compatible apps and games. Supported USB-C display output offers another way to use the device with a suitable external screen. Set up the software you enjoy and make the arrangement yours.

In the box

ANBERNIC RG476H in Indigo, 8GB RAM/128GB storage, USB charging cable, and user manual. A carrying bag, game card, external display cable, and game library are not included.

A few useful answers

Why choose a 4:3 handheld?

It is a good screen shape for many compatible older games. Widescreen software can still need borders, cropping, or layout adjustments depending on the app.

Does 120Hz guarantee faster gameplay?

No. The panel refresh rate and the game’s rendered frame rate are different. Performance depends on the title, software, and settings.

Can I connect it to a monitor?

The model supports up to 1080p USB-C video output with compatible equipment. A suitable display connection and any external controllers are separate.

★★★★★
It's heavier than expected and has a good grip; the material is solid and feels luxurious. In particular, the quality of the LTPS screen is the best.

★★★★★
This is nice. It's close in performance to the RGCUBE I have, but the sense of luxury is much higher here. It can run light PS2 games quite well, so as a dedicated retro gaming device, it's about 80% satisfactory. I think they've made a good effort in terms of cost-performance ratio.

I saw it introduced in a YouTube video and decided to buy it. For me, the user experience is very good and I am satisfied. It looks very beautiful as well. The store's service was excellent, and the item arrived the next day after payment. I was happy because I was able to purchase it at a cheaper price than on the official website.

I have not used the device yet, this review is to mention the bag did not come with the handheld. i ordered the version with a carrying case bag, but unless it was shipped separately, i did not receive it. delivery was fast and arrived in good condition but the box was not sealed.

Great 4:3 960p screen perfect for almost all pre-hd era systes; controls have food response and feel quality. easily handles most gc and ps2 titles at 2x interval resolution. pre-installed emulators are (mostly) well chosen and configured. really very few drawbacks compared to its primary competition that cost more than twice as much.

Excellent product, better than I expected. There was a small issue with the screen, but the store was kind and quick in providing all the necessary assistance. I highly recommend it.

The RG476H is an amazing console! I bought it already knowing that the processor wasn't that powerful, but it surprised me a lot. It plays GameCube and PS2 games very well, with up to 1.5x resolution, something I didn't expect from a portable device of this size. I've been using the console for a month, and every day I like it more. The size is perfect, the screen is excellent, and the ergonomics are wonderful. When you pick it up for the first time, you immediately notice how premium, well-built, and well-finished it is. I also finished my first game on it, Grandia II, and it was an amazing experience. I will definitely finish many more games and enjoy the classics. The delivery was also surprisingly fast, taking less than ten days. The only problem was with the Brazilian Post Office, which had few employees, so I had to pick up the package at the central office, but it wasn't a problem for me. I am very happy with the purchase. Thank you, Anbernic, for the excellent console! ❤️ (Zneko launched the images.)

Everything was very fast. \n \n As for the console and its packaging, I can also say that it arrived without any defects. All the companies involved excellently fulfilled the mission of transporting and delivering the package. \n \n The console itself, for the price, is something in the mid-range, but the reality is that the construction, finishes, aesthetics, ergonomics, etc. are far above what one would expect for a product of this price. \n A magnificent screen, very bright, quite comfortable in the hand, buttons and triggers of very good quality. \n It has the Android OS, so it's ideal for playing many games from the Play Store, and as for emulation, the maximum limit is PS2 and GC... both run very well, but there are always one or two games that run with difficulties.","verified":false,"images":["https:\/\/cdn.shopify.com\/s\/files\/1\/0777\/0754\/2706\/files\/gf-review-20261016-5c84fefed2533ff39e16c6b4.webp?v=1792161629","https:\/\/cdn.shopify.com\/s\/files\/1\/0777\/0754\/2706\/files\/gf-review-20261016-e792aa5e3bc0530c7525e3ac.webp?v=1792161629","https:\/\/cdn.shopify.com\/s\/files\/1\/0777\/0754\/2706\/files\/gf-review-20261016-c46f24a5de63fd6c00de70a0.webp?v=1792161629"]},{"author":"S***y","date":"2026-01-19T00:00:00.000Z","rating":5,"title":"","body":"Awesome product, great little hand held, perfect for my retro gaming desires.","verified":false,"images":[]},{"author":"S***h","date":"2026-01-08T00:00:00.000Z","rating":5,"title":"","body":"First off, kudos to the official anbernic store. The handheld arrived in about a week to montreal, canada, a few days earlier than expected and despite the holiday rush. It was extremely well packaged, with tones of bubble wrap around the package, so the box was intact. As for the handheld, i absolutely love it. The screen is gorgeous, the colors pop, and the 4.7 in size makes a world of difference vs. my 3.5 in retroid handheld. Seriously, the screen is incredible. The controls are responsive and quiet (except the bumpers) and i was able to play in bed next to my wife without waking her up (that’s not an easy feat!). The device feels heavy (just the right amount) and premium, not like a toy at all. I have mostly played android games with controller support (dead cells is fantastic on it), but i’ve also tested games up to gamecube ps2 without any issue so far (and played an hour of conker’s bad fur day at 2x. Very happy with both the seller and the handheld, strongly recommend both.","verified":false,"images":[]},{"author":"S***u","date":"2026-01-06T00:00:00.000Z","rating":4,"title":"","body":"Delivered in good condition. Have not tried the playing on the tv function yet though thats it but everything works great and no need to replace os hope they stay the price they are as its the perfect price for them. And i can play kingdom hearts 2 without a single issue, just use gpt premium or similar to tweak settings exactly how u need them and point emus to the where you put roms.
