Circuit Lens is the FNIRSI LCR-ST2 component tester in the Standard configuration, without Kelvin clips. A loose surface-mount component can be difficult to identify and awkward to hold against ordinary probes. Circuit Lens brings the contact points and the measurement into one hand.

The tweezer format lets you place the tips across a suitable component while the display sits just above your hand. It is a useful arrangement for sorting small parts or checking a value during bench work. Good contact and a properly isolated component remain essential to a useful reading.

Keep the bench tool compact.

The 1.47-inch display and rotating reading orientation help keep results visible as you handle the tweezers. A rechargeable 300mAh battery and USB-C charging suit a small electronics workspace. Put it beside the parts tray, ready for the next unidentified component.

A few useful answers

Can I measure a powered circuit?

No. Use it on isolated, discharged components and follow the manual. Power or residual capacitor charge can damage the meter and create a hazard.

Will an in-circuit reading always be correct?

No. Other connected components can affect the reading. Isolate the component as required for a meaningful measurement.

Is this the kit with Kelvin clips?

No. This is the Standard tweezer package. Choose measurements that the supplied tweezer contacts are designed to make.

This is an excellent product, but the way the two variants (with and without kelvin clips) are presented is very misleading and invites ordering mistakes. When you select 'set 1' which is without the clips and is the default, the item heading still mentions 'kelvin clip' and many of the pictures show them. Remember to select 'set 2' and later refresh the page, it defaults back to 'set 1' and looks like you just got a nice price reduction! It is really not worth considering 'set 1' since the price difference is small and the custom connector means there is no way of getting compatible clips later. The clips are a unique benefit of this model over other lcr tweezers and enable comfortable measurement of through-hole components and the resistance of cables. The store did however handle my mistake very well allowing me to return the original for credit and reorder the intended version.
