Build a T-Rex Head With a Moving Jaw

Bring a dinosaur-inspired mechanism to your display with this metal T-Rex head model kit. Assemble the detailed components and set the motorized jaw in motion once the build is complete. CHRONOS PREDATOR combines model-making with a moving mechanical centerpiece for a desk or shelf.

What It Does Once Built

  • The bite is real (mechanically speaking). A motor drives the jaw open and closed at the touch of a finger — a small, reliable moment of drama on any desk.
  • The eyes glow. LED eyes give the head its menace after dark, so it holds up as a display piece by night as well as by day.
  • It works for a living. Between demonstrations it serves as a desk ornament, a pen holder, or something to fidget with mid-afternoon.
  • It reads as a statement. Electroplated steel and Victorian-machine styling make it a talking point for anyone who visits your desk.

The Assembly

Construction combines two techniques: bendable wires that you form into the organic curves of the skull, and precision screws that lock the structure together. The mix rewards patience and builds fine motor control and spatial reasoning along the way. Builders from age 12 can handle it solo; younger ones can join in with an adult.
