Bring the books you already own as files
Load compatible, DRM-free EPUB and TXT books onto the included 16 GB microSD card. Storage can be expanded with a compatible card up to 256 GB. This is a dedicated file-based reader: Kindle, Kobo and Libby apps and DRM-protected books are not supported. Keep a backup of your library before transferring files.

But there was a problem with the firmware on the crosspoint, it wouldn't flash on three different laptops via WiFi, couldn't be flashed via cable, managed to flash it only via MacBook, it flashed quickly and everything worked perfectly. Good item. Stock firmware is minimal and boots up with english language option. I asked the seller about crosspoint flashing, but they didn't offer a guide, and anything they said was probably lost in translation. Anyhow, after much toil i managed to flash crosspoint to the reader via the escape hatch tool. I exhausted nearly every other option and was on the verge of punching something when it finally worked! So be warned: this might not be as easy as you think it'll be. Prepare for stress, and hide any knives or guns you may own.

Does it have a touchscreen and a reading light?
Yes. It combines a touchscreen with physical page buttons and an adjustable front light for reading in dim surroundings. The E Ink display is monochrome; it is not a color tablet or a video screen.
Which books and files can I read?
The original software supports DRM-free EPUB and TXT books, plus JPG and BMP images. Native PDF support is not included. Books locked to another provider’s app or protected by DRM cannot simply be opened on this reader. You are responsible for having the right to use the files you transfer.
Can I use Kindle, Kobo or Libby?
Those reading apps cannot be installed on this model. A DRM-free EPUB or TXT file that you are permitted to use can be transferred separately. Buying an ebook in another platform’s app does not necessarily provide a compatible file.
How do I add books and expand storage?
Use the included microSD card to transfer compatible files with a suitable card reader. The device supports microSD cards up to 256 GB and 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi. App availability and wireless transfer options depend on the supplied firmware and your region; microSD file transfer is the straightforward option.
Which firmware and languages are supplied?
This is the China-market firmware edition, with English available in the original interface. USB firmware flashing may be restricted. Global-app pairing and third-party firmware such as Crosspoint or Crossink are not guaranteed. French, German and Dutch interface support is not promised. Choose it for reading compatible files on the supplied software.
How do I charge it?
Attach the included magnetic charging adapter to the reader’s contacts, then connect a compatible USB-C cable and suitable USB power supply. The reader itself has magnetic contacts rather than a built-in USB-C socket. A cable and power supply are not included. The built-in battery is 1100 mAh.
