Product details

A Cardboard Box Is Never Just a Box Again.

In a maker’s hands, it can become a castle, robot armor, a race car, a stage, or the first prototype of a brilliant idea. This USB-powered tabletop cutter helps imagination move from sketch to shape, turning everyday cardboard into something worth building, wearing, playing with, and proudly showing off.

Draw the Idea. Guide the Cardboard. Watch It Take Shape.

Sketch a line, guide the cardboard across the powered cutting point, and follow the path into straight edges, sweeping curves, and one-of-a-kind parts. The maker controls every turn from the first cut to the final fit, so the finished creation feels completely their own.

Make More Than a Project

Every build inspires the next question: How should it stand? What could make it move? Which piece would make it even better? Costumes become characters, prototypes become bigger ideas, and a plain sheet of cardboard becomes proof that something imagined can become something real.

The Material Is Already Everywhere

Delivery boxes become creature masks, model buildings, signs, story sets, inventions, and whatever comes next. There is no single finished project to outgrow—just an open invitation to reshape, rebuild, and invent again.

A Tool That Keeps Creativity Moving

Give it a place at the family craft table, in the classroom, or inside a busy makerspace. It is ready for quick afternoon ideas and ambitious builds that grow over several sessions, making cardboard one of the most exciting creative materials in the room.

Plug In and Start Making

The cutter works with cardboard up to 6 mm and arrives with its USB cable and quick-start guide. Bring the first box, choose the first idea, and let the making begin.

System Useage My son and I have really enjoyed the concept, however, the system doesn’t cut the cardboard very well/straight.

It is great tool with limitations. My grandson is a very creative, detail oriented and bright 12 yr old. He loves to build his own models of aircraft’s and ships out of cardboard and other assorted materials. He was thrilled to get the ChomSaw. He was a bit disappointed it the limitation of the thickness of the cardboard it could handle. I had been saving cardboard for quite awhile and part of his gift was a huge stack of assorted cardboard. He also said it was a bit cumbersome doing some cuts. This is a picture of his project in progress. For the price , I thought it would be able to handle more. I justified the price because he has two siblings who will probably use it too.

Could have taller blade. Machine is pretty cool. Would be better if you could cut more than thin cardboard without crushing it beforehand.

A decent addition to our school's shops Using this saw takes a lot more force from users than we expected and we've come to find it's best used when we have a block of wood clamped on the side that sits in direct opposition to the cutting direction. It is great for quick prototyping versus us sending kids to the lasercutters.

Huge Hit! My Grandson received this for Christmas and absolutely loves it. He is 3.5, and is learning how to turn to make different angles and shapes but he does very well. I would suggest wearing short sleeves, as his cuff on his hoodie has a little notch out of it because he was turning the piece of cardboard and it swept under the blade area just right.

Good prototype, excited for next version I’ve been waiting and waiting for this tool to come on the market. I make giant puppet/costumes for our local May Day event and thought that this might make my work go faster and spare my knuckles.

This is a game changer for kids I love the concept. It opens up a whole new world for younger kids to be able to create and express their ideas and inventions. I love that it is super safe. I was a bit disappointed that you must be careful to stick to thin cardboard. My kids experienced frustration at first because we had a thick material. Also the circle cutter was a bit difficult to figure out and use for the littles. Love the included patterns and cool things they can make. They are so proud of themselves when they complete a project!

Why we love it! (and some helpful tips) My 8yr old loves it and so do I! I absolutely recommend it. We build together as a great bonding activity, but he can also build on his own and whatever his creative mind dreams up like his own tool belt. Clearly the first thing to make :) The only nit-pick I have is the majority of the cardboard we receive from amazon and other online retailers is just barely thick enough to make it tough for kids to push through the gap between the table and the metal guard. Thinner cardboard like the box it comes in goes through like butter. We use the wooden knife that you can purchase to score the cardboard first which makes it much easier to cut but adds more time to the process. If they made that clearance under the metal guard more adjustable, it would be an easy 5 stars, no question, because it's so simple to use and clean up. But I cab also appreciate that they may need to keep it that height for safety which is the whole reason I bought it in the first place. It would be great if the scoring tool was included in every kit. Considering there is nothing else like this out there that is so safe and well-built, it is easy to recommend this. The additional table kit makes it simple to create consistent pieces to put together.

great tool This is a great tool. My students are loving it! I wish it gave a measurement on the depth it can cut. Some of our cardboard seems a bit thick for the machine to fully do its job.

Could use a few adjustments for Classroom/Makerspace environments I will say this is a kid magnet in the makerspace! It is relatively easy to use for the kids. Some things need some finesse. I would love to get a bunch more of these for programming, but I am concerned about a few things within a makerspace/classroom environment. The noise, this is quite loud. I would love to find a way to dampen the noise. I cannot imagine having 10 of these running at the same time as they are now. We have had several times where kids want to take out the container with the punches which gets very messy if they spill it or try to play with it. I would love if there was a way to make it not as accessible to the kids. It is tricky for the kids and even some adults to work with the circle cutter. Also, I purchased the 3D printing file for the screws. But ended up finding that there are way better designs for this out there online for free. I figured that I will try to address some of this myself and see if it will still be feasible with these modifications to buy another 10.

We do wish that it could cut thicker cardboard. If there is ever a replacement part or a new model that could cut thicker material we would be very interested in it.
