Give the light something to catch

The atmosphere is part of the shot.

Scene Mist is the FILMOGX FM-02 photography smoke machine, a rechargeable 30W fog unit with a carrying case. A beam of light becomes visible. A small object arrives through a veil of mist. Scene Mist gives tabletop shoots and close-up videos another layer to work with, without placing a large machine in the frame.

Build the reveal at the right scale.

The handheld format lets you position the output near the part of the scene you want to shape. A 30W system produces the effect, while the supplied tube and hose accessories give you options for directing it. Start with a little atmosphere, check the frame, and add only what the shot needs.

Try a different mood in the same setup.

Fine mist, denser fog, and a simulated low-lying effect offer different creative directions with the appropriate accessory arrangement. Side or back lighting can help the effect show up in camera. The light, airflow, background, and fluid condition all contribute to the final look.

Keep the kit ready for the next take.

A rechargeable 5000mAh battery and USB-C charging make the unit portable between setups. The display keeps controls on the device, while the case brings the unit and accessories together after the shoot. It is a useful addition when small product scenes need a little movement and atmosphere.

A few useful answers

Is the low-lying effect made with dry ice?

No. It is a simulated effect using the machine and accessory setup. The kit does not use or include dry ice.

Can I use any liquid?

Use only the compatible fluid specified for the unit. Follow the manual for filling, cleaning, storage, and ventilation; do not substitute oils or other liquids.

Will the fog look the same in every room?

No. Air movement, light direction, background, and output settings change the appearance. Test a small amount in your actual scene and keep the output away from faces, food, and sensitive equipment.
